ROBERTA  LYNN  (CERMINARO)  DONNELLY

Roberta “Berta” Donnelly, age 41 died Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after a courageous battle with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer.  She was born Roberta Lynn Cerminaro on November 23, 1974, in Mercy Hospital, a daughter of Sam and Joan Cerminaro.  Roberta worked as an Allegheny County Juvenile Probation Officer.  She loved cooking, crocheting, journaling, camping and reading Bible and short stories to her children at bed time.  Roberta was a very passionate member of Spirit Chapel in Elizabeth Township, extremely passionate about her battle and helping others in their battle with Breast Cancer and the Western Pennsylvania Police Benevolent Foundation.

In addition to her parents, Berta is survived by her husband, Robert J. Donnelly, Sr.; her children, Reagan, Rebeckah and Riona; her stepson, Robert J. Donnelly, Jr.; her brothers, Ronald (Deborah) and Richard (Sarah) Cerminaro and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William “Bill” and Carmel Donnelly.  She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 6 – 9 PM and on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from Noon – 3 PM and 6 – 9 PM.  On Wednesday, April 13, 2016 there will be a Memorial / Celebration of Life Service for Roberta at 12 Noon at the Court Time Sports Center 95 Enterprise Street, Elizabeth, Pennsylvania 15037, followed by a luncheon in the upstairs Sunset Room.
