JOHN  YASKO

John Michael Yasko, age 53, of the Dravosburg / West Mifflin, Pennsylvania area, passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.  He was born on August 30, 1965 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one of three children of George Frank Yasko and Carol Hilda (Graham) Yasko.

John graduated from West Mifflin South High School in 1983; was a U. S. Marine Veteran and worked for Holtec International in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania.

John loved to cook, loved flowers and loved Jesus!

He is survived by his two daughters, Shannon Rose Yasko and Lindsey Rae Yasko; his parents, George and Carol; his two siblings, a brother, David Yasko of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania and sister, Rebecca Minoski of Baldwin Borough in Pittsburgh and also survived by Laura (Buck) Yasko.

Friends will be received on Monday, June 3, 2019 from 1 – 3 pm and 5 – 8 pm in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350).  John’s funeral service will be in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 11 am.  His burial will follow in the Lebanon Church Cemetery in West Mifflin.
