GERALDINE “COOKIE” REEVES

Geraldine Reeves, age 80 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, known and loved as ‘Cookie’ died suddenly February 12, 2022, in Florida. Cookie was born on the South Side of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 29, 1941, the youngest of eleven children of Felix and Cecelia (Pielin) Wisniewski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight of her siblings, Ruth Tambellini, Eugene Wisniewski, Bobby Wisniewski, LaVerne Woloch, Janet Solarczyk, Dolores Walkowiak, Eleanor (Levy) Wisniewski and Margaret Rojtas.

Cookie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles Reeves; their daughter, Jennifer (Daniel) Kerekes of South Park, Pennsylvania and is the loving grandmother of Justi, Carli, and Clay Kerekes. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia (Wisniewski) Buccina, brother, Richard Wisniewski and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 2 - 6 pm in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com. A Blessing service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 11 AM. Cookie will be buried in St. Josaphat Cemetery in Baldwin Borough, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with many of her family members.

Cookie was very bright and had a good sense of humor. She was dedicated to her daughter and grandchildren and was a loving light for her husband.
