Ewing O. Ahlin, age 97 formerly of Brookline, Pennsylvania, died on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. He was born on September 25, 1923, in Trafford City, Pennsylvania, one of two children of Ehrnfrid Oskar Ahlin and Ruth (Bowman) Ahlin.

He was World War II Veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, serving in the Pacific Theatre at Saipan and Tinian in the Marianas Islands and at Iwo Jima in the Volcano Islands

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Rita (Hug) Ahlin in March of 2005 and his sister Bette Ahlin.

Ewing is survived by his son, Clifford and his wife, Mary, Ahlin of Whitehall Borough in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and two grandsons Terrence and Tommy Ahlin.

There will be no visitation.  He will be entombed with Military Honors next to his wife, in the Notre Dame Mausoleum of Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray, Pennsylvania 15317 on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 11:30 AM.

If desired, his family suggests donations in his name to any local Salvation Army.
