Alva Rogerson

ALVA  ROGERSON

Alva Rogerson, age 94 of Floreffe in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania passed away at her daughter Bonnie’s home in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania.  She was born on January 2, 1926 in Elizabeth Township one of four children of Primo and Alva (Contrella) Soncini.  Alva was a member of the Elrama United Methodist Church in Elrama, PA and a former member of the the Olivet Presbyterian Church in West Elizabeth, PA.  She loved her churches.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Albert Rogerson in 1989; a brother, Alfred Soncini and a sister, Betty Rogers.  Alva is survived by her two daughters, Carol Licht, with whom she resided and Bonnie Craig; two grandchildren, Kimberly (Barry) Iddon and Ian (Jennifer) Craig; three great grandchildren, Tyler and Austin Iddon and Delaney Craig and her brother, Jack Soncini  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

At her family’s request her visitation and funeral service will be private.  In lieu of flowers her family suggests donations to the Elrama United Methodist Church 19 Downer Avenue Elrama, PA 15038 or OSPTA Hospice 625 Lincoln Avenue #207, North Charleroi, PA 15022.
