William Jacobs Iii

William John "Billy" Jacobs III, age 42, of Forward Township , Pennsylvania died suddenly on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania , due to a stroke. He was born on April 26, 1968 in Pittsburgh, the son of Bill and Dolores Jacobs.  Billy was President and Owner of Oriental Gardens in West Mifflin , Pennsylvania , a member and Past President of Pleasant Hills Rotary and an avid hunter.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, William John, I and Francis Jacobs and Theodore Dolansky.  He was the devoted father of Kyle and Kasia.  In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his grandmother Priscilla “Mamaw” Dolansky; 2 sisters, Lisa (Marty) Altschaffl and Amie (Jason) Sinay and nieces and nephew, Kayla, Kira, Kirkland , Hunter and Will “Little Billy”.

Friends will be received from Noon - 8 pm , Saturday, January 8 ^th in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) Jefferson Hills , Pennsylvania .  His funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 2 PM on Sunday, January 9 ^th with fellow Rotarian, Reverend Dan Strussenberg officiating.  A graveside burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills , Pennsylvania . Donations may be made to the family for a fund set up for Billy’s daughter Kasia.
