William Clark Braun, age 59, of Pleasant Hills Borough in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, formerly of Lake Tahoe, Nevada for 5 years, died on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Bill worked in sales for Dick’s Sporting Goods for 10 years and was born on July 6, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of Dr. William G. and Dorothy I (Clark) Braun, who currently reside in Pleasant Hills. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Daniel K. (Mary) Braun; eight nieces and nephew and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received on Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 1 – 4 pm and 7 – 8:30 pm in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, where his funeral service will be held also on Thursday at 4 pm following the afternoon visitation. If desired his family suggests contributions be made to the charity of your choice in Bill’s name.
