William Bickerton

WILLIAM  “BILL”  BICKERTON

Bill Bickerton, age 88, of the Floreffe area of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018.  He was born, William Lee Bickerton on September 9, 1929, in Floreffe, one of three children of Thomas Franklin and Edna Pearl (Wray) Bickerton.

Bill was a carpenter for the Jones and Laughlin (J & L) Steel Company at the Floreffe Plant and an avid hunter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, William R. H. Bickerton, who died on May 25, 2017, and both of his siblings, Thomas Bickerton and Emma Lou Borreggine.  He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Detman) Bickerton; son, William (Cheryl Rimsky) Bickerton also of Jefferson Hills; granddaughter, Jennifer Bickerton of Florida, great granddaughter Adrianna and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Bill will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11 AM at Crossroads Ministries, 81 Walter Long Road, Finleyville, Pennsylvania 15332.  www.crossroadsministries.com.
