Wayne Frank Guenther, age 79 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania died Thursday, January 5, 2012. He was born March 30, 1932 in Jefferson Hills, a son of Charles Lewis and Edna (Reed) Guenther. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann (Smith) Guenther, September 9 2009, a son, Wayne Evans Guenther, January 22, 2003 and his only brother, Charles Samuel Guenther, December 22, 2005.
Wayne is survived by four children, son, Charles (Cindy) Guenther of Jefferson Hills and daughters, Susan (Eric) Mikoleit of Jamestown, New York, Nancy Gelardi of Pleasant Hills in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Gail (Jay Bosley) Guenther of Baldwin Borough in Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Stacey (Guenther) (Shawn) Slie, Megan Guenther, Lara and Karl Mikoleit and Salvatore (Zorica) Gelardi and Nicolas Gelardi and one great grandson, Charles Maddox Slie.
Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 11 AM – 1:30 PM followed by a procession to Round Hill Cemetery for his burial.
