VIRGINIA (BROSKY) VENORA

Virginia “Ginger” Venora, age 76 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday, May 24, 2012.  She was born Virginia Agnes Brosky on February 11, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York one of four children of Ray and Helen (Hiscar) Brosky.  Ginger was a waitress at the Blue Flame Restaurant in Jefferson Hills for 22 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of 56 years, Eugene “Bud” Venora; two children, sons, Gary and Jamie (Ruth) Venora both of Jefferson Hills; two grandchildren, Jessica and Ryan Venora; one great granddaughter, Riley Venora and three brothers, Michael Brosky of Trevose, Pennsylvania, Raymond Brosky of Alexandria, Virginia and Gerald (Connie) Brosky of Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania.

Friends will be received from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM on Sunday, May 27, 2012 and Monday (Memorial Day) May 28, 2012 in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 10 AM, followed by burial in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
