Velma Boal

Velma Boal age 89 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, November 20, 2010 . She was born August 8, 1921 in Jefferson Township (now Jefferson Hills) one of eight children of Victor and Isabelle (Haughton) Brown. She attended the Wesleyan Church in Elizabeth , Pennsylvania.

In addition to her parents, Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Keith F. Boal, March 19, 1990 , and all of her siblings. She is survived by 2 sons, Keith of California and Larry of Elizabeth; 1 daughter, Marilyn Hudak of Jefferson Hills; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Friends will be received Monday, November 22, 2010 from 3 – 7 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 11 AM. Pastor Roy Kelly of the Wesleyan Church will officiate. A graveside interment will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery in West Mifflin , Pennsylvania.
