THOMAS F. ROSSI
Thomas F. Rossi, age 84, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his home in Clairton, Pennsylvania, surrounded by his family. He was born in Clairton on June 22, 1929, one of three children of Fidele and Angela Rossi. Mr. Rossi served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War, was a Draftsman at US Steel’s Research Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania for over 30 years and was an avid carpenter and card player who loved horse racing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Rossi. Thomas is survived by his wife, Irene (Capul) Rossi; four children, Thomas (Terri) Rossi, Paula Tracey, Daniel (Joan) Rossi and Fred Rossi; eight grandchildren, Shannon, Amy, Tara, Michael, Tess, Jared, Adam and Caden and his only sister, Fanny (James) Harvey.
Friends will be received from 4 - 7:30 PM on Thursday, June 12, 2014 in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10 AM in St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church.
