TAMMY  (WILLIAMS)  HALT

Tammy Halt age 56 died peacefully, surrounded by family members, on Friday, August 31, 2018 at her home in West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania.  She was born Tammy Lynne Williams on March 16, 1962 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, one of four children, of Larry John Williams, Sr. and Ruth (Anderson) Williams.

She was an avid woodworker and crafter and belonged to the Calvary Chapel Church of South Pittsburgh in West Elizabeth, the Glassport Volunteer Fire Company, the Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Company Social Club and the Floreffe Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her husband, Gary William Halt; her mother, Ruth Williams of West Elizabeth; two sisters, Tracy (William) Dodds of Richeyville, Pennsylvania and Lori (Del, Jr.) Nolfi of North Huntingdon Township, Pennsylvania; brother, Larry (Jennifer) Williams, Jr. of McKeesport, Pennsylvania;   her father and mother-in-law, James C. and Edith Halt, Sr. of West Elizabeth; two brothers-in-law, James C. (Teresa) Halt, Jr. of Sutersville, Pennsylvania and Terry (Jennifer) Halt of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 on Wedneday, September 5, 2018 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM.  Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home at the conclusion of the evening visitation at 8 PM with Pastor Tim Green, of the Calvary Chapel and Mr. Emerson Williams officiating.

As per Tammy’s and her family’s wishes, please send NO FLOWERS. Donations will be accepted by her family for hospital and funeral expenses.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 4PM at the Elizabeth Fire Hall, 107 Market Street, Elizabeth, PA 15037
