Susan Miller

Susan “Suzie” Miller, age 56 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Monday, May 12, 2025. She was born, Susan Samantha Kozak, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on July 23, 1968, daughter of Daniel and Nancy Jean (Segida) Kozak.

Suzie was preceded in death by her father, Daniel. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, (5 dating & 33 married), Edward G. Miller, Jr; their two daughters, Tori (Tyler) Alexander and Tiffani (Daniel Himes) Miller; her mother, Nancy Stenger; her sister, Sherry Kozak and her beloved cat, Gypsy.

Suzie loved spending time in nature and caring for any animals that ventured into her path. She loved whimsical things, sweets, and having fun. But first and foremost, she loved her family.

There is no visitation at this time. A Memorial gathering and Celebration of Suzie’s life will be held in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com on Saturday, May 31, 2025 with a gathering of family and friends at 1 pm and the Celebration of her life at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, Suzie’s family suggests making a donation to the ASPCA or the Wounded Warrior Project, both of which she supported.

Suzie will be remembered as a strong spirit, a fierce mama bear, and a loving selfless person. Her focus and attention was always on others.
