RUTH (SICKLES) DAVIS
Ruth Elizabeth Davis, age 88, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania went to join her loved ones in heaven on Friday, September 22, 2017. She was born in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania on March 17, 1929 to the late Miles and Agnes (Wells) Sickles, Sr.
Ruth attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Clairton, Pennsylvania where she taught Sunday School. She loved the Lord, her family, neighbors, ALL her caretakers at Lawson Nursing Home, and loved being a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Raymond Davis in 2009 and siblings, brother, Myles Sickles, Jr. and sister, Dorothy Bloomfield. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah E. (Terrell) Witt of Helena, Alabama; her granddaughter, Amy E. Miller of Birmingham, Alabama; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, from 11:30am until the time of her funeral service at 1:30pm in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home.
