RONALD  JACK

Ron Jack, age 79, of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, September 19, 2012.  He was born Ronald Paul Jack on December 14, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania one of four children to David and Estella Jack.  Ron worked 32 years for US Steel at the Homestead Works in Homestead, Pennsylvania and 15 years at PACT in Pittsburgh.  He was a long time member of the Clairton Sportsman’s Club and a member F and AM Homestead Lodge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Fretz) Jack (May 3, 2010) and 2 siblings, a brother, David Jack and an infant sister, Bonnie Jack.  He is survived by three children, Susan Puskar of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Thomas (Kathy) Jack of West Mifflin and Cindy (Al) Garris of Derry, Pennsylvania; 8 grandchildren, Tabitha, Brian, Melissa, Kristen, Lauren, David, April and Justin; 10 great grandchildren, Devon, Tommy, Brennon, Decklin, Cassidy, Brea, Jala, Bryle, Alley and Logan; a sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Phil Krepps of Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania and a sister-in-law, Wynona Jack of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.

There will be a visitation at his church, the First Presbyterian Church of Duquesne on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 10 AM until 11 AM.  His funeral service will follow in the church at 11 AM with the Reverend Judi Slater officiating.  A private burial will be held in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers his family suggests donations to the First Presbyterian Church of Duquesne, 719 Duquesne Blvd, Duquesne, Pennsylvania 15110.
