Robert C. "Bob" Hines
Age 72, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at his home in Clairton, with his wife by his side. Bob was born December 13, 1938 in West Elizabeth to Arthur Earl Hines and Elizabeth (Keefer) Hines. He worked 37 years, retiring as a supervisor, at Eastman Chemical, formerly Hercules. In his retirement Bob drove a school bus for Mathews Bus Co., was a member of East Monongahela Sportsmen’s Club, and was an active Boy Scout leader.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and will be dearly missed by his wife, of 46 years, Ann (Finn) Hines; 3 children, Bob Hines at home in Clairton, Michael Vernon (Judy) Hines of Baldwin Borough and Colleen (Ryan) Palombia of Whitehall Borough; 4 grandchildren; Hope, Maggie, Kiarra and Delaney and 1 brother; Earl (Donna) Hines of Mesa, AZ.
Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) Jefferson Hills from 7 – 9 PM Monday, April 4th and 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM Tuesday April 5th. A prayer will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 6th at 9:15 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Claire of Assisi Parish in Clairton. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park
