Perry Vahaly, Sr.

PERRY VAHALY, SR.

Age 44, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania died on Saturday, September 1, 2012. Perry was born April 9, 1968 and was a U. S. Air Force Veteran and an Allegheny County Police Officer. He is the husband of Mrs. Amy Vahaly; Father of Shawn, Angela, Andrew, Austin, Faith and Perry, Jr.; Son of Eileen and the late Andy Vahaly; Son in Law of Ron and Debbie Mesing; Brother in Law of Mandy (Jarrod) Hill and Josh Mesing; Uncle of Cody and Claire.  He is also survived by his family in law enforcement and all who loved him.

Friends will be received from 2 – 8 PM on Thursday and Friday in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at 11 AM in the Thomas Jefferson High School Auditorium, 310 Old Clairton Road in Jefferson Hills.  His burial will be in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania with Police and Military Honors.

Friday evening at 7 PM, during the visitation in the funeral home, the Fraternal Order of Police Association (F.O.P.) will have a service.

Perry was an organ donor through CORE and one of his organs went to a U. S. Military Veteran.
