Pearl (Schuchman) Hentsch

Age 90, of Pleasant Hills Borough, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, formerly of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday September 1, 2011. She was born Pearl Phyllis Schuchman, one of two children of Milton and Augusta Schuchman on October 2, 1920 in McKees Rocks. Pearl was a secretary for Federal Judge Maurice Cohill and a former member St. Mark Lutheran Church in McKees Rocks.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Frederick Otto Hentsch (March 10, 1980) and her brother and his wife, William and Louise Schuchman.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Hentsch of Pleasant Hills, Kathleen (Richard) Hanebutt of Shawnee, Kansas and Marcia Colgan of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Kelly (Leo) Niemetz, Seth (Sandie) Hanebutt, Gretchen (Jay) Schroeder and Kristy Colgan and two great grandchildren, Logan and Landon Niemetz

Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 in the Good Shepard Lutheran Church on Maxwell Drive in Whitehall Borough, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 9:30 AM until the time of her service at 10:30 AM, with the Reverend Dan Strussenberg officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery in McKees Rocks.
