Pauline Morris, age 92, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018. She was born on November 14, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania a daughter of James and Amelia (Zakinthenakis) Carlos. Pauline had resided in the Rostraver Township and Webster areas of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in McCandless Township, Pennsylvania and was very musical. She loved playing the Organ as well as the Piano, Accordion and Ukulele.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Frank Morris on October 17, 1992. Pauline is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Greg Moniuszko) Morris of Rostraver Township and Andrea (Fiancé Richard Smith) Morris of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Helen (Carlos) Chapas of the North Hills of Pittsburgh and Sophie (Carlos) Tylman of Norfolk, Virginia; a brother-in-law, Stanley “Steve” Morris and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 3 – 8 PM. A Trisagion Service will be at 4 PM, during the visitation on Monday. Her Funeral Service will be in the Chapel of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cemetery in McCandless Township at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.
