Patricia McDonald

Pat McDonald of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania and more recently Clairton, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.  Pat was the daughter of Theresa Hudzik Amati Ruffing.  She was a self employed beautician, worked in the china department of Kaufman’s at Century III Mall in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania and the admissions department at Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania.  She was well known as a great cook and baker!

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, S. Alan McDonald in 1997; a great granddaughter, Keli Rose Keenan; and two brothers, James and Lawrence Amati.  She is survived by three children, Alan (Paula) McDonald of South Park, Pennsylvania, Jeff (Lydia) McDonald of Clairton and Kimberly McDonald of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Meredith McDonald, Rachel (Zack) Dobrinski, Alana (Zach) Caulkett, Elizabeth (Justin) Keenan, Trey Peterson, Courtney McDonald Paul, Jeffrey S. McDonald and Jeffrey J. McDonald; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home, 1701 Route 51, Jefferson Hills.  There will be a prayer in the funeral home on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 9:15 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 10 AM in St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton.  Burial will follow the Mass in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania.  Visit www.stephendslater.com for condolences and more information.
