Nancy Richey

Nancy J. Richey, age 87 of Jefferson Hills, formerly of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 14, 1938, in Duquesne, Pennsylvania one of two daughters of Francis Joseph Yaest and Hazel Adelaide (Hugan) Yaest.

Nancy graduated from Duquesne High School, where she met Duane Robert Richey. They would marry and raise their family in West Mifflin and became members of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Nancy served the Lord through her church, where she was an Elder and participated in many Bible Studies. Nancy loved her church family and was privileged to serve the Lord alongside them. She loved traveling the world with Duane and loved their many family vacations at the beach.

Later in her life she moved to Jefferson Pointe Circle in Jefferson Hills. She loved her Jefferson Pointe neighbors, especially playing many types of card games with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Duane, her husband of 60 years, in 2017, and her sister, Ora V. Walker. She is survived by her three daughters, Belinda (Kenneth) Eber, Shari (Mark) Strawins and Amy (John) Hines; six grandchildren, Kate, Amanda, Alexis, Jorge, Joshua and Matthew; four great grandchildren, John, Mia, Luca and Jaxson and nieces, nephews.

Family and friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 11 AM in the Lebanon Presbyterian Church 2800 Old Elizabeth Road West Mifflin, PA 15122. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Her burial in Lebanon Church Cemetery will be immediately after her funeral service in the church.
