Nancy Clark

Nancy J. Clark (C L A R K,  NO "E" on the end!), age 78, formerly of Jefferson Hills, Pennslyvania, died on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at her daughter Anna’s home in Treasure Lake, DuBois, Pennsylvania.  She was born January 16, 1937 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one of four children of Edward John and Marion Louise (Woolensack) Cummings.

Nancy loved nature, she especially loved her "Farm Homestead" on Route 885, being active, with her late husband, in the Large Fire Hall Association and was a beloved "wise" Granny (Schmo).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John “Pappy” Clark; one grandson, Randall Orr; one brother, Richard Cummings and one sister, Mary Lou Conrad.

Nancy is survived by her four children,  two daughters, Anna (Thomas) Adams of Treasure Lake, Theresa (Russ) Osburn of Hastings, Michigan, and two sons, Michael (Diana) Clark of Clairton, Pennsylvania, and Jack (Kimberly) Clark of Palm Harbor, Florida;  10 grandchildren, W. Robert (Jenn) Orr, Thomas Adams, Rachel (Samuel) Lim, Christopher (Lori) Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, Joshua Wallace, Stephanie Clark, Stephen Mantz, Jonathan Henning, Keith Henning; 14 great grandchildren; one brother, John Cummings and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 6:30 – 8:30 PM and Friday from 1 – 3 and 6:30 – 8:30 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills.  A funeral prayer will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Clairton.  Interment will be in St. Clare Cemetery.

A Memorial Service will be in DuBois on Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Tri County Church OTH at 3:30 PM.
