Mildred King age 82, of Clairton, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Born Mildred Jean Braum on February 28, 1930 in West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania she was one of three children to Carl Edward Braum and Gertrude (Horner) Braum. Mildred was a mom and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Marynchak on July 4, 2011. Mildred is survived by her husband, Bob King; daughter, Robin Krason, both of Clairton; two grandchildren, Matthew (Yvonne) Krason and Holly (Jeff) Nelson; one great grandson, Cody and her sister, Shirley Yost of Monongahela, Pennsylvania.
Friends will be received on Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10 AM. Father Charles Baptiste of the St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania.
If desired her family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
