Mike Virgin Age 29, of Jefferson Hills died suddenly on July 5, 2011. He was born May 3, 1982 precious son of Rich and Cindy Virgin. Mike graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, Washington & Jefferson College and was a life long member of Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church. He was an outstanding athlete and avid fly fisherman.
He was the brother of Matt (Jamie), Dan and Zach; Loved by Michelle Wilson; Grandson of Paul and Jan Shatting and the late Rich and June Virgin; Uncle of Olivia and Mason Virgin; Nephew of Cheryl and Craig Carlson, Rene and Duane Schademan and Karian (the late Roy) Virgin; Cousin of Jason, Jessica and Jake Carlson, Laura, Lindsay, and Julia Schademan and Rosco and Nicole Virgin.
Friends will be received from 6 – 9 PM on Saturday and from 12 – 3 & 6 – 9 PM on Sunday in the Stephen D Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Monday in Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church on Old Clairton Road. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). A reception will follow. Mike grew in his faith through his time at Teen Challenge of Western PA and had a strong personal relationship with his Heavenly Father.
