MICHAEL  HAVEL

Michael Havel, age 64 of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020.  He was born on November 5, 1955 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania one of two sons of Michael Edward Havel and Ethel Louise (Wallace) Havel.

Michael grew up in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1973.  He lived in Colorado during the late 1970’s until the early 1990’s.  Upon returning home to the Pittsburgh area, he worked for Bettis in West Mifflin.

He was an avid golfer and a Harley rider, who loved NASCAR, but mostly, Michael was devoted to his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his fiance’, Christine White.  He is the father of Christina (Richard) Sobeck, Zachary (Jessica) Havel and Sarah Peifer; he is the proud Pap Pap of Richard Sobeck, III and triplets, Michael, Dominic and Wyatt Havel.

He is also survived by his brother, David (Nancy) Havel and their son, nephew, Brandon Havel.  Michael also has many “four legged” friends that survive him.
