Melissa “Missy” Grimes, formerly Melissa Lynn Sharp, born September 15, 1969 in Pittsburgh, passed away suddenly at the age of 43 on Monday, March 25, 2013.
She is survived by her beloved husband, David Mark Grimes and loving sons Ryan and Brent Grimes. She is also survived by her mother Betty Sharp, father William Sharp and her sister Christina Sharp, along with many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Mark and Missy were to celebrate their 25th anniversary in August and have been inseparable for the past 27 years. Missy loved to visit local markets, camping, going to the movies and country music concerts. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends and spoiling her two dogs, Gizzy and Sasha.
Being the compassionate, caring person that Missy was, her final wish was to give the gift of life through organ donation. She will live in our hearts forever and will be greatly missed.
Friends recieved from 2 - 8 PM Thursday March 28th at Stephen D Slater Funeral Home, 1701 Route 51 (Large) Jefferson Hills, PA 15025. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home 10 AM Friday March 29th.
