MARY (MROCHEK) BEJGER


Mary (Mrochek) Bejger, age 94, of West Elizabeth, died Thursday, November 24, 2011.  Mary was born August 29, 1917 in Floreffe, now part of Jefferson Hills, one of three daughters to John and Elizabeth Ondic.  She worked 29 years at Continental Can.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands Joseph Bejger and Daniel Mrochek; a daughter, Madeline Walker and two sisters, Florence Tortorice and Betty Wolf.  She is survived by one daughter, Betty Toth and two sons, Daniel (Patti) and David Mrochek; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM Saturday and Sunday in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home (412-384-0350) 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills.  A funeral prayer will held there on Monday at 9:15 AM, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Elrama / Floreffe.  Interment will be in Round Hill Cemetery.
