MARIE  WALSH

Marie Walsh, age 88, a long time resident of Baldwin Borough, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away at her son, Terrence’s home in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania on Friday, February 14, 2014.  Marie, an avid card player, was born on December 4, 1925 and grew up in the Winterburn Street area of the Greenfield section of Pittsburgh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Walsh, July 19, 2002 and three siblings, Clara, Tom and Grace.  She is survived by her son, Terrence and his wife Tia, Walsh and two grandsons, Sean and Joseph Walsh.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 3 – 5 PM and 7 – 9 PM in Stephen D Slater Funeral Home, 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills. A prayer will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Albert The Great Catholic Church in Baldwin .  She will be entombed with her husband in Calvary Cemetery in the Hazelwood section of Pittsburgh.
