Margaret Wright

Margaret "Rita" Wright, age 83, died Tuesday June 21, 2011 at her home in West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania. She was born Margaret Zando on July 29, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Valentino and Angela (Frassenei) Zando. She was a long time member of the West Elizabeth United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Wright. Margaret is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert O. Wright; 2 sons, Bob (Nancy) Wright of Leechburg, Pennsylvania and Derek Wright of West Elizabeth; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Wright of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania; 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter; 2 sisters, Diane Puckey of Clairton, Pennsylvania and Lillian (Dick) Carlson of Puyallup, Washington and 1 brother, Carl (Betty Ann) Zando of Elizabeth.
Friends will be received on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, where her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11 AM. A private burial will be held at a later date. PLEASE NO FLOWERS.
