LYDIA "LEE" HARVEY
Lydia Ann “Lee” Harvey, age 67 of Clairton, left this beautiful earth that she loved so much on March 21, 2020. Born May 30, 1952, Lydia was the eldest daughter of George D. Marker and Margaret Ann (Berthold) Marker. Following the untimely death of her mother, Lydia became the much-loved step daughter of Margaret Ann (Halt) Marker. A graduate of South Allegheny high school Class of 1970, Lydia was a longtime employee of Red Lobster in Pleasant Hills and an activities volunteer at The Faidley House.
Lee was sunshine to her partner Jeffrey McDonald and his two children, Cortney and Jeffrey. She was the loving and dedicated mother of Michael A. Michnowicz and Darl (Kelli) “DJ” Harvey. Lydia was adored by her three beloved grandchildren, Jameson Paul, Hannah Grace, and Claire LoriLee. She was the cherished sister to Susan (Marker) Logothetis, the best Aunt “Eda” to her nephew, Brandon Logothetis and is also survived by her step mother, Margaret. Lydia was preceded in death by her Father and Mother. She leaves behind many extended family members that were close to her heart and friends that were like family.
Lydia was a lover of art, and nature. She enjoyed theatre, trips with her Aunt Cathy and family, motorcycle rides, and anything outside. She made everything she encountered more beautiful and left everyone she met with a memory. She had an eye for photography and could grow anything, especially love and family.
A celebration of Lydia's life will be held at a future date.
