LOLA (ROTHROCK) RATTER
Lola Ratter, age 89 of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016. She was born Lola Belle Rothrock in Benezette, Pennsylvania, in the home built by her Great – Grandparents, on June 30, 1926 one of two children of Harold Leslie and Lena Ethel (Craven) Rothrock.
Lola was a long time member and Elder in Lebanon Presbyterian Church in West Mifflin. She also served as the Librarian and served in their nursery for over 20 years. She was also a member of the Red Hatters and active in her card club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Edward Karl Ratter in 1992; her grandson, Eric Karl Rippel; her brother and a son-in-law, Rich Kapfer (daughter, Laurie’s husband). She is survived by her three children, daughters, Linda (Joseph) Michalski, Laurie Jean Ratter and Janice Lee (Dean) Rippel; three grandchildren, Samuel (Kim) Michalski, David (Sarah) Michalski and Jillian Lee Rippel and four great grandchildren, Zachary, Samantha, Emily and Abigail Michalski.
Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 2 - 6 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in the Lebanon Presbyterian Church 2800 Old Elizabeth Road, West Mifflin, Pennsylvania 15122 on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 12 Noon. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
