LOIS (HILLIARD) BUCK
Lois Rose “Dodi” Buck, age 79 of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 22, 2015. She was born Lois Rose Hilliard on January 22, 1936 in Barnesboro, Cambria County, Pennsylvania one of six children of HenryEllsworth Hilliard and Anna Catheryn (Bennett) Hilliard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four of her siblings, sisters, Ruby Tuttle and Fran Knarr and brothers, Leslie and Leonard Hilliard. Lois is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Allen Buck; two children, daughter, Laura Marie (Fiancee’ Randy) Yasko and son, Joseph Alan Buck; four grandchildren, Shannon Rose Yasko, Lindsey Rae Yasko, Cheyenne Brandy Buck and Hayden Michael James Buck and one sister, Virginia “Ginger” Abrams of Barnesboro.
Friends will be received on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 2:00 pm ‑ 6:00 pm in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. There will be a prayer in the funeral home on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 9 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Catholic Church in West Mifflin at 10 am. Father John Lendvai will Celebrate the Mass. Lois’ b urial will take place in the Lebanon Church Cemetery (next to the church) in West Mifflin.
Her family suggests donations in Lois’ name may be made to Alzheimer’s or Dementia research.
