LARRY "BERL" DUVALL
Larry “Berl" Duvall, age 82 of Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania died at his home surrounded by family members on Monday, October 7, 2013. Berl was born on June 24, 1931, one of three children of Lawrence “Barley” and Amelia (Pezzettigotta) Duvall. He worked for US Steel’s Homestead works retiring as a Supervisor and was a Trustee at the East Monongahela Sportsmen's Club.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Beth (Staley) Duvall in September of 2006. Berl is survived by 3 children, sons, Barry (Helen) Duvall of Aaronsburg, Pennsylvania and Larry (Mona) Duvall of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania and daughter, Lawren (Doug) Jones of Center Township, Pennsylvania; 4 grandchildren, Chandelle, Nathan and Joshua Duvall and Amelia Jones; 2 great-grandchildren, Rayli Turek and Nicholas Smith; one brother, Clayton "Buddy" Duvall of Porter, Indiana and one sister, Vivian Risher of Portage, Indiana.
Friends will be received from 3 – 8 PM on Wednesday in Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, where his funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania.
