Kalista "Kit" Bickerton

KALISTA  "KIT"  BICKERTON

Kit Bickerton, age 74, of Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania, formerly of Rostraver, Pennsylvania, died Monday, April 18, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Dawn, in Scottdale, Pennsylvania surrounded by family members.  She was born Kalista Dreier on August 14, 1941 in Homestead, Pennsylvania, one of two children of Jane and Spark Dreier.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Donald L. Bickerton.  Kit is survived by two children, son, Bradley (Lynne) Bickerton of Cortland, Ohio and daughter, Dawn (Cathy) Bickerton of Scottdale; six grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jackson, Ben, Claudia and Ruby; her brother, David (Nancy) Dreier of New Bern, North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen D Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2016 and 10 AM until the time of her funeral service, in the funeral home, at 11 AM on Friday, April 22, 2016.  The Reverend Judi Slater will officiate the service and burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township.
