June M. Virgin, age 77, a life long resident of Pleasant Hills, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania died Thursday, November 4, 2010 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania where she had worked as a nurse and administrator.
June was a life long member of the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church.
She was born June Margaret Miller on June 22, 1933 in Pittsburgh a daughter of Charles and Matilda Ursula (Schmidt) Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Virgin, Sr. on October 17, 2002; a son, Roy Virgin; brothers, Charles, Bill and Ed Miller and a sister, Charlene Dlutowski.
June is survived by her son, Rich (Cindy) Virgin; her daughter, Rene (Duane) Schademan; 9 grandchildren, Matt (Jamie), Mike, Dan and Zach Virgin, Laura, Lindsay and Julia Schademan and Rosco and Nicole Virgin; 1 great-granddaughter, Olivia; 1 great-grandson, Mason;
2 brothers, Jack and Paul Miller and
3 sisters, Eileen Herford, Elizabeth Rutkowski and Audrey Oskin.
Friends will be received from 2 – 8 PM Sunday, November 7, 2010 in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills. Her funeral service will be on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 11 AM in the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church, 199 Old Clairton Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15236 ( EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH ). Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills. If desired her family suggests contributions be made to her church.
