JUNE AILEEN BICKERTON
June Aileen Bickerton, age 89 a retired Beautician of Clairton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 in Lawson Nursing Home where she had resided with her late sister, Grace (Bickerton) Kulka (dod: July 5, 2016). She was born on January 24, 1927 in Jefferson Township (now Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania) one of ten children of John and Ida (Stemme) Bickerton. Aileen a longtime member of the Olivet Presbyterian Church in West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her nine siblings, brothers, John, Orville, Howard, Donald, Tom and Paul Bickerton and sisters, Grace, Bernice Nagy and Betty Robb. Aileen was the kindest and loving Aunt to her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 10am until the time of her Memorial Service at 11am. Her burial will be in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania.
June Aileen’s family wishes to thank Bonnie and Kevin White for all the kindnesses they have shared with her for many years. The family has appreciated the care provided to her while at Lawson Nursing Home.
