JULIA (KOLOCIN) JANCZEWSKI
Julia Grace Janczewski, age 83, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014. She was born on December 4, 1930 in Jefferson Township, Pennsylvania, 1 of 8 children of George and Mary (Bavin) Kolocin. Julia loved to cook, her family fondly remembers her bread making.
In addition to her parents and all of her siblings, Julia was preceded in death by her husband, with whom she had been married 54 years, Leonard M. Janczewski on September 25, 2001 and grandson, Richard Dean Massaro on December 9, 2013.
She is survived by her two children, daughter, Linda ( husband Dave) Massaro and son, Leonard Janczewski, Jr. and grandson, Michael Massaro, all of Jefferson Hills.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in the Stephen D Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 2:15 PM during the visitation period. Her burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
