Judy Gutierrez

Judy Gutierrez, age 73 of Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania died at home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, July 17, 2025. She was born Judy Diane Sanford on November 28, 1951, one of four children of Robert and Violet Marie (McCormick) Sanford in Chicago, Illinois.

She lived and grew up in Chicago until she moved to Elizabeth Township in 2001 to be near her son and grandchildren. Judy loved cooking Southern and Mexican meals for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Gutierrez, Sr. in 2020, and their grandson, Zackery Gutierrez in 1993. Judy is survived by her one son, Eugene (Chrissy) Gutierrez, Jr.; three grandchildren, Hannah (Lorenzo) Gutierrez-Altuzarra, Haley (Jordan) Gutierrez and Joshua (Gina) Gutierrez; her sister, Jan (Sanford) Cybulski and sister-in-law, Aileen Toy-Sanford.

Her family will have a private gathering and burial. Judy will be buried in Round Hill Cemetery, next to her husband.
