Judy Curry

Judith Curry, age 81, died on Friday, March 29, 2024. She was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and was raised in Snowden, PA. She eventually moved with her family to Hawthorne, California and then settled in Long Beach, CA. She worked in the International Shipping Industry and raised a family. Following her return to Western Pennsylvania, she was reintroduced to her high school sweetheart, Walter (Butch) Curry, whom she married. Judy loved gardening, reading, and traveling. She loved animals, but not birds. She was a good cook and baker. She is survived by her husband Walter (Butch) Curry, daughter Jody (Lloyd), step-son David (Mandy), sisters Marian Hitchcock and Doris Quigley, and a brother Charles David, step-grandson Spencer, numerous nephews and cousins. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 1 PM in James Chapel, 303 Stone Church Rd, Finleyville, PA 15332 with Reverend Brent Furlong presiding. In lieu of flowers Judy asked that donations be made to Go Time Ministries, 3555 Washington Ave. Finleyville, PA 15332. www.gotimeministries.org
