JOHN K. "JACK" MILLS
Jack Mills, age 62 died peacefully at his home in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Born December 28, 1952 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, he was one of three children of Paul Jackson and Elizabeth (Jones) Mills. Jack was a Millwright / Expeditor for US Steel’s Irvin Works in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, with 31 years of service. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Jefferson Hills, where he was recently ordained a High Priest and a member F & AM of the Dravosburg, Pennsylvania Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debbie (Brown) Mills; the loving and devoted father of Jack, Joyelle (Brandon) Turley and Jonathan (Jessica); the devoted Pap of Jackson, Maddux and Kapri Turley and the brother of Carole (George) King and Paula (Steve) Nutini.
Friends will be received in Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills on Thursday from 1 – 3 & 6 – 9 PM, where his funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 AM.
