JOHN “JACK” LYMAN
Age 51, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, unexpectedly on Monday, March 18, 2013. He was born John Michael Lyman on April 17, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is the beloved husband of René Dauk Lyman; loving son of Francis J. (Norma) Lyman and the late Loretta (Wolititch) Lyman; brother of Francis Gary (Diane) Lyman and Thomas G. (Mary Ann) Lyman; brother-in-law of Wayne (Sherri) Dauk; nephew of Robert C. Lyman; stepbrother of Jennifer (Terry) Donahue and Eric (Sue) Schubert; uncle of Brendan, Ashley, Joey and Josh.
Jack is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack was a giving, unselfish husband; a generous man of peace and a loyal friend to relatives and workers. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hillson Wednesday from 6 – 8 PM and Thursday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A funeral prayer will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday, March 22, 2013 with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Thomas a’Becket Catholic Church on Gill Hall Road in Jefferson Hills at 10 AM. Father Robert Seeman will celebrate the Mass. His entombment in a Mausoleum will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Millvale (Shaler Township), Pennslyvania.
