John J. Toth
Age 90, died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at his home in Clairton, surrounded by family members.
He was born May 19, 1921 one of five children of Andrew and Elizabeth (Knapp) Toth.
John served as a Corporal in the Army Air Corps during WW II, worked for US Steel in the Clairton Mill for over 30 years, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus 995 in McKeesport.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Bernard and Thomas. He is survived by a sister, Irene B. Fera; a brother, Raymond and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) Jefferson Hills. A prayer will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9:15 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Clare of Assisi Parish. Burial will be in Ascension Cemetery.
