JOHN C. KOSAR
John Charles Kosar, age 73 of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 31, 2016. John was born on April 25, 1943 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania one of three children of John Albert and Margie (Livingston) Kosar. He grew up in the Floreffe area of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania and was a stand-out football player in high school, graduating in 1961 from Thomas Jefferson of the West Jefferson Hills School District.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda (Skelly) Kosar; two children, Kevin Kosar also of Bethel Park and Kristin (John) Smearman of Bordentown, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Alec and Caitlyn Oxbrough; his two siblings, sister, Carole (David) King of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania and brother, William (Ellen) Kosar of Kansas City, Missouri. John also leaves behind the many friends he made across the country during his lifelong career in sales.
