JEAN  PATTERSON

Jean Patterson, age 69, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was born on February 21, 1949 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania one of three children of Sherwin Wylie Griffith and Evelyn June (Dannenhauer) Griffith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Patterson on September 6, 2005.  Jean is survived by three children, Roger (Tina) Patterson, Ron (Cassie King) Patterson and Kate Patterson all of Jefferson Hills; six grandchildren, Garrett and Tayler Patterson, Noah and Brooke Patterson, Bailey Williams and Makenzie Patterson; two siblings, sister, Kathryn Griffith and brother, Rusty (Pam Geiser) Griffith both of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania; one niece, Laura Griffith; two nephews, Daniel and David Griffith and life-long family friend, Thomas “Shorty” Simms, III.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home (Large) in Jefferson Hills, where her funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 12, 2018.  Her burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania.  Pastor Jody Dausey will officiate at her funeral service and burial.
