JEAN (WINSLOW) ONDERKO
Jean Onderko, age 81, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, formerly of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, March 2, 2014. She was born Jean Angela Winslow on July 31, 1932 in Homestead, Pennsylvania one of seven children of John Andrew Winslow, Sr. and Anna (Nagy) Winslow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Roy Onderko, February 16, 2005. Jean is survived by two daughters, Patty (Bob) Gaylik of Crescent Township, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Cathy (Rick) Shirley of Jefferson Hills; two sons, Stephen (Pam) Onderko of Sanger, California and John (Karen) Onderko of Troy, Illinois; twelve grandchildren, Tanya (Josh) Broaded, Travis, Casey and Tyler Gaylik, Adam (Pam), Amy (Fiance Troy) and Andrew Shirley, Samantha and Kaitlyn Onderko and Caleb, Joshua and Devon Barclay; three great grandchildren, Wyatt and Lyla Broaded and Lawson Blaze Onderko and two siblings, Joan Durham and Joe Winslow.
Friends will be received from 2 – 8 PM on Wednesday in Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills. A prayer will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 9 AM with Mass of Christian Burial following in St. Thomas A’Becket Catholic Church, Gill Hall Road, Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 at 10 AM, Father Daniel Maurer officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh.
