JAMES “JIM" COLL
Jim Coll, age 66, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one of three children of Raymond, Sr. and Verna Coll. Jim worked over 30 years for Snavely Forest Products and was an auto racing enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond, his mother and stepfather, Verna (Coll) Heaney and Michael Heaney and his only sister, Joanne Coll. Jim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Paula; three children, daughters, Monica (Brandon) Alt and Michelle Long and son, Jamie Coll; seven grandchildren, Hope, Marissa, Aaron, Noah, Gabriel, Caleb and McKenna and a brother, Raymond (Dorothy) Coll. Jim is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, on Thursday, December 17th from 1 - 4 and 6 - 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Thomas A’Becket Catholic Church on Friday, December 18th at 11 AM. A prayer will be held in the funeral home before mass at 10 AM, followed by a "funeral procession" to the church.
