IRENE (PALMIERI) O'BRUBA

Irene (Palmieri) O'Bruba, age 85, formerly of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania died Thursday, August 1, 2013 in Palm Harbor, Florida.  Irene was born January 9, 1928 in Export, Pennsylvania a daughter of Dominic and Louise (Palo) Palmieri.  She was a long time member of the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in West Mifflin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph John O'Bruba, Jr. on April 14, 2003 and 5 siblings, Carmen, Neil, Albert and Armando Palmieri and Victoria Drylie.

Irene is survived by her two children, daughter, Jeanine (Mark) Hvozdovich of Palm Harbor, Florida and son, Gerard (Marilyn) B. O'Bruba of West Mifflin; ten grandchildren, Jessica, Emma and Ian Hvozdovich, Joseph and Tyler O’Bruba and Kristen, Ryan, Katie, Kelley and Gina Page and one sister, Joanne Mihalov of the Cleveland, Ohio area.

Friends will be received on Monday, August 5, 2013, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM in Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025.  A Prayer will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 9 AM with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church 529 Grant Avenue Extention, West Mifflin, Pennsylvania 15122. Entombment will in Lebanon Church Cemetery in West Mifflin.
