IDA McCONNELL
Ida May McConnell, age 85 of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, formerly of Pleasant Hills Borough in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, died on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. She was born May 18, 1926 in Norwich, Norfolk County, England, one of four daughters to Frederick Frank Rice and Ellen (Skipper) Rice. Ida was a well known seamstress in the Pleasant Hills area.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Hilda A. Gracie and Ellen "Nelly" Dye. She is survived by two children, daughter, Gail Lee (Clifford Carilli) McConnell of Elizabeth and son, Patrick F. (Terry) McConnell of Texas; Grandson, Michael Gove McConnell of Texas; her last sister, Florence "Dina" Cox of Evansville, Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial was held privately with family in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania.
