HAZEL (CALE) ROSE

Hazel Rose age 79 of Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.  She was born on December 21, 1940 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania one of five children of John Francis Cale and Catherine (Heinbaugh) Cale.  Hazel graduated from Johnstown High School class of 1958.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two of her siblings, her sister Cleo Bush and brother Jack Cale.  She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Charles “Chip” Rose; her devoted children, Jack Rose, Deanne Prezioso and Karen Galioto.  She was the proud grandmother who was actively involved with eight grandchildren, Jack, Julia and Dylan Rose, Matt, Zach and Jessi Prezioso and Natalie and Gabe Galioto.  Hazel is also survived by her two remaining siblings, sister, Sue Ann Cooney and brother, James Cale.

Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM.  Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in St. Thomas A ’Becket Catholic Church 139 Gill Hall Road Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania at 12 noon.
